Application Process
Interested in making application to a youth camp, workshop or other program activity you have discovered on this web site? If paying for related costs is a problem, CYS can help. We can provide subsidies of up to $300 for youth from Newfoundland and up to $500 for youth from Labrador to attend co-op youth events.
To access a subsidy you must complete the application process for the program or event you are planning to attend. Once confirmation has been received you must then complete the short subsidy application to the left of your screen and press submit to forward it to the CYS Program Co-ordinator.
Should there be a need for further assistance you should contact the CYS Co-ordinator directly and she can assist you with your applications and work with you to identify other potential sources of financial support. Please be assured that all information is kept confidential and is only used to facilitate access to financing to assist you in attending your selected program or event. Click to the left of your screen to find more information about two potential funding programs through the Government of NL: “Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators Fund” and “Youth Leadership and Engagement Grants.”
